    Eldridge age?

I had a 1992 Eldridge Grade and it was black with red/orangish back end. I think yours is 1993 model, also it´s the year that the new deore LX in black came to the market and the end of Deore DX.

    Now-Identified Cannondale - 92/93 crossover M500

With a 1" headset it must be pre-1992. I´ve got a frame from 1992 with the same dropouts, 27.2 seatpost but it´s got 1 1/4" headset.

In Spain we use front left brake and right back brake, I´ve lived in Costa Rica and they have it the same as me, also in Argentina and I suppose all South América. I´ve also had a motorbiking background but I´ve got no problems when riding the motorbike or the bicycle even though the front...

    Question for Proflex fans

I raced an 857 (same year as yours) for some years including a few downhill races and although I´m sure it flexed, it wasn´t something that I noticed or could be worried about. Must admit the carbon swingarms looked much nicer than the aluminium and probably were lighter.

    Original Manitous

I´ve got a Cannondale frame (1 1/4), but the head tube is 170mm long (about 6.6 inches). How long is the steerer on your Manitou? I´ll be needing the lot.
