    Di2 onto retro steel frame.

You could do it easily enough, the only difficult part would be getting the rear derailleur cable out of the chainstay. You won't have a hole for that so I'd advise taking the cable out the bottom of the BB shell and routing it where a normal cable would go to the back. Guiding the cables...

    Lemond tsx or tvt?

I already have those, I was going to have a few put on but the painter did it before I'd had a chance to ask. So right now the frame just has TVT decals. I could always stick them on later, but I kind of like it nice and simple anyway.

Mr Lemond didn't have other traffic to contend with :)

Stepped cable ferrules for rear gear cables.

I had exactly this problem a few weeks back. I tried all manner of online variants, none fitted. Eventually the owner of my local bike shop had a friend make one on his lathe, which fit nicely.

    Lemond tsx or tvt?

Thought I'd update you all, the bike is pretty much finished now and rides very nicely. I just have a couple of tiny niggles to sort out, I doubt anyone else would notice them lol :) Front derailleur cable isn't parallel to the frame because I haven't got the right BB cable guide. And I'm...

Incredibly rare - Ever seen one of these ?

http://www.classiclightweights.co.uk/bi ... bu-rb.html Interesting idea, would you be able to get the rear wheel out if it had a derailleur though? I can't imagine how.

    Lemond tsx or tvt?

    Fork crown facing

Any frame builder will have that tool. So don't look for bike shops, look for frame builders and enquire within. Having said that: http://www.framebuilding.com/economy%20 ... ilding.htm

    Fork crown facing

Is it just paint in the way? On a new frame last year I had to scrape the paint off the crown before the headset would go down.

    Lemond tsx or tvt?

    There's an image of one here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/colnagosa ... t_carbone/ and here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/colnagosa ... t_carbone/ and here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/mrzuffenh ... t_carbone/ I don't think I'll find that one, but I reckon a generic replacement will...

    Lemond tsx or tvt?

It's finished now, so hopefully in the next week or so. I'm hoping there'll bit a bit of sun over winter, it won't be going out on anything but dry roads. Which reminds me, I don't have the plastic bridge that goes under the bottom bracket shell. Must order one...

    Lemond tsx or tvt?

I believe so. It just wants opening up by about 1mm or so, someone at some point in time must have inserted too small a seatpost.

Campagnolo Record Syncros 7spd down tube levers

You just remove the synchro ring and you have a friction shifter.

Missing C Record rear derailleur grub screw

Re: I was trying to find that same component on a derailleur I have, but on my version they've replaced it with a raised bit of metal, so no screw. Have you tried screwing one of the limit screws in there? I'd be surprised if they didn't use the same thread.

Frame is now being resprayed. I think it's looking very good. The decals go on shortly.

holy moley rear sprockets bigger than the front now

I can understand the attraction of climbing in high gears but most of my climbing is around the edges of the Peak District or in the Forest of Bowland, and believe me half a day spent around there is enough to make you throw a small cog into the nearest reservoir. For bombing around Cheshire...
