I don't think its really worthwile all the effort to change a cable operated disc brake to use thicker cables as the better ones do work! I have a set of Avid BB7s on my Inbred that work perfectly well. True they may not be as firm as some top of the line hydraulics, but they are better than...

Yep! That's exactly what i did on my '99 Orange P7. If yours has the same Manitous that mine came with, then the bike will be much improved by a set of rc36s!

I must admit i do envy the crossers with disc brakes. The cantis are variable to say the least!
