On my 1993 RS60 series, which has the same lugged constructed frame as yours the seat post is 26.8mm and you don't need a seatpost collar but a pin or a quick release. Also I believe that fd is 28.6 mm.

Those are the elastomer stacks, the stanchions and the push rods from my defunct RST Mozo Pro 1998-1999 (I guess).
They held up pretty well, the MCU dosn't desintegrate maybe because they were kept în a plastic bag for the last 15 years? :roll:

I have on my steel Univega Alpina 507 that chainstay bend, it's symetrical (both chainstays) and as you said, it is closer to bb. They used to call this Max Mudroom, as it says on the chainstay.

Congrats for the project, in my opinion those japanese made Paramounts were one of the nicest production steel frames of their times.

For me by far, the original Marz Z1, for sure a game changer in it's time...
I remember those times very well...I used to have a 1998 yellow Judy SL that I was very proud of and a friend of mine just received a Z1 Bam...it was just something else !
