Re: An early Merlin with the rear brakes at the bottom bracket. If I found one I would have Steve Potts make a type 2 fork for it (for roller cam brakes), and then I could die happily :D Chris

Honestly, the stem is slammed all the way to the bottom of the steer tube! I'm considering cutting off a bunch of it.... I compared it to some of my "long" Nitto Technomics stems, and it is much longer? For what it's worth, I'm a stickler for "minimum insertion marks"! Cheers!
