Got the forks back at the weekend - they are 2008 Mx Pro lo. Stuck with 30mm travel - I presume the TST cartridge has gone? Have now sorted a set of RC36 pro class 2, so I'll save them for another day...

Looks good. I've already ordered some Mother's alu and mag polish as it came highly recommended elsewhere, so will see how I get on once I've finally got the gooey green nitromors mess off....

I might try it - for £40 ish, if it doesn't work I'll just go back to polishing!

Thanks. An alternative that I was considering was to leave the frame raw and put on a ceramic coating - e.g. bicycle armour or waxisdead. Anyone tried this? Will it reduce oxidation?
