I have one of the very first Funk Pro Comps ever made.
I bought it in 1987 and it is a 1988 year model.
It is unrestored as it.....*gasp*....does not need it.
It does indeed have a storied history, but that really doesn't fall into this post.

They completely messed up when they mounted that Alien roller that way (that would be the small brass roller for the front derailleur cable above the bottom bracket).
It goes INTO the bottom bracket housing, dead center, rear.

It's not filet brazed nor is it smooth sanded.
It's straight up TIG welded aluminum done right.
Easton 7075-T6 to be perfectly precise.
I have one, one of the very first ones, it is one of the very best riding and handling frames you will ever come across.
