    Pace Stem combo reproduction

Got to give you props for your pro job on those two stems. Really nice braze work, and the angles look dead on in the pictures.

    Newbie Marin Bike Help

Oops, I forgot to answer the question you asked earlier about lube. I find tri flow or any Teflon based lubricant to be the best in my opinion. Teflon based lubes are not as messy as straight oil based lubes and tend to reduce wear in the long run.

    Newbie Marin Bike Help

Re: That is one of the heavy clunky crank and sprocket sets Shimano made. I don't think that's Deore or XT either. Looks like a cheapie model. I'm guessing somebody swapped it out in the past. You can go on e bay and find a suitable period correct lightweight crank and chainring set up...

    '90 GT Tequesta Nimbus.....

Re: I love it, looks great and you're almost done. Saving most of the parts and refurbishing them definitely helps keep cost down. I think most of the older parts are superior in quality to new ones, so it's a win win. Job we'll done.

    Mountain Goat Deluxe restauration...

Re: That build looks great in the end. Congrats and job we'll done. You are a patient man indeed, I would have pulled out half my hair about the frame corrosion and paint mishaps. I know what I charge for a paint job like yours, but can I ask what you paid, or is that just rude? Once again...

1990 Klein Top Gun Restore **FINISHED**

Great job on your TG build. I've always liked Kleins, but they are a bit out of my price range. I tend to build my bikes for under $300 as this is what's affordable to me. I know, what a cheap bastard I am. Once again, very nice build. I should put a few of my builds up on the site.

KLEIN QUANTUM PRO 1995 - JAMAICAN GOLD -

A greeting, nicely put. Honestly Klein linear fades have always been my favorites to spray, or respray. The optical illusion created by such a simple process is amazing. Simply put you get far more out of it effect wise, than you put into it labor wise. The Original Klein crew were quite clever.

KLEIN QUANTUM PRO 1995 - JAMAICAN GOLD -

I've always had a soft spot for Klein. Your bike is a classic example of their claim to fame. Linear fade paint job on oversized aluminum frame. It is just gorgeous, thanks for letting us feast our eyes on it.

    Paint Chips and Damage

Hey I am Iron Man, that looks like a fairly straight forward paint job. Are you still having problems finding someone to spray your ride? It is possible to just try and touch it up, but most likely it will just be a complete respray. I do stuff like this for around $600-$700. If you've already...

1992 Diamondback Apex - back to the future

Re: Spam away by all means, we love bike porn. I've never seen snake skin look tires before, trippy. BTW ride that bad boy, and enjoy. You did a nice job, enjoy the spoils.

    When to respray bike?

Firstly you should know I do bicycle re sprays, restorations, and custom paint. If you came to me and asked the same question and stated the same usage information... I would suggest elbow grease and the vinyl graphics. Please take into account I would be losing a spray job in doing this. It's...
