    Mystery fork

Re: Re: Great info. I found a Track Two sticker on the fork. I will likely end up selling it as it isn't integral to the Ritchet.

    Mystery fork

This came on a Ritchey Ultra, late 80s. Wondering what this fork is. It looks a bit like a Pace fork but I havent seen others exactly like this one.

    Proflex 852 Offroad

Re: Does anyone know what seatpost size this would have taken? 27.2 feels a bit loose. Also, does anyone know which elastomer kit this would have used? 1, 2 or 3 elastomers?

    Proflex 852 Offroad

Got this peach of a Proflex 852 locally in Toronto. 20" ctt, 22" tt. I'm not sure if I am going to borrow the m732 parts for a different build and trade the frame for something else but we will see. Loving the saddle. Girvin stem and rigid proflex forks are pretty cool.

    FS/FT: 1992 Mongoose IBOC Pro Frame/Fork/Headset

1992 Mongoose IBOC PRO frame, fork and Tioga Avenger headset (new bearings). Aluminum main frame and stays, 4130 cr-mo fork. These have the unusual triangular top tube and are somewhat sought after if you're into pink bikes. In overall good condition. No visible dents that I can see but...

Shimano 600 Arabesque, First gen dura-ace, some mtb bits, mo

I don't know... Some items went for less than expected and others went for a bit more. It all comes out in the wash.

How much is my 198# Mongoose Pro frame and fork worth?

Re: I've recently picked up one of these. Mongoose IBOC Pro 1992.

How much is my 198# Mongoose Pro frame and fork worth?

This was the #1 MTB in Mongoose's lineup at the time. I believe it is a 1986-1988 based on the components that came with it (6 speed XT M730). The frame is in good condition, the paint is fair to good. There is cable rub, chips and scratches but the frame is sound. I have been trying to sell...

Shimano 600 Arabesque, First gen dura-ace, some mtb bits, mo

I've got these for sale on eBay. There isn't a UK option but I know a lot of you chaps are over on that side. Smaller packages (aka everything but crankset) under 500g to the UK are about $11 CDN surface and about $20 CDN for air. http://www.ebay.ca/sch/narhay67/m.html? ... pg=&_from=

Mongoose IBOC Pro steel/aluminum looptail MTB

I purchased this today. It is a mix of Deore, DX and XT. I saw one other example here which has some catalogue scans. That one says it is 1992 but has a few slight differences to mine. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=257825

    The Belgian-Japanese connection Flandria

Maybe one of the nicest restorations I've seen. I'm going to send you a box of parts you can polish up for me. And a tenner, of course. I'm not a slave driver here.

    Narhay's 1987 Mongoose Pro

I know, right? The bike was very well used though so it looks like the previous owner upgraded what he could when he could.

    Narhay's 1987 Mongoose Pro

I purchased a 1996 Specialized Rockhopper with some nice XT and LX parts (SL-M732 thumb shifters, RD-M739 RD and Suntour XC-II pedals) and stripped the Mongoose. I spent quite a number of hours this past weekend cleaning the parts. Unsure if I'm going to rebuild or flog them on ebay.

    Narhay's 1987 Mongoose Pro

Thanks. It might be the filthiest bike I've purchased. Everywhere I touch is covered in black soot. A member was interested in the brake cable noodle for the stem cantilever attachment so here are some photos.

    Narhay's 1987 Mongoose Pro

I rescued this from a student's balcony where it had been languishing for 2 years last night. He, or the previous owner, was a serial stickerer...an offence which should be punishable by some sort of gulag. The frame paint is not great...lots of scrapes and stickers but it is all there and...

    Narhay's Parkpre Pro 825

Re: Re: Thanks. I changed the RD because I had it and prefer the long cage with a triple crankset. The short cage just doesn't quite do it (IMO) for the wide spread of these triple cranks. Stem can be up to the uncle if he wants something else in a different length or if he wants to upgrade it.
