New additions Finally took the time to install some purchases from over the winter... Scored an NOS Ashtabula Schwinn-stamped stem and a really nice black B72. The old B72 was brown and kinda saggy. I mostly use this as a town/pub bike, but it sure is a grin!

First Ladie's framed clunk I've seen... my bride might like that. Maybe I missed the thread, but what inspired you do go the ladies route?

Excellent perspective Alex. It is your bike after all! It's not really my cup-o-tea -- I'd lean to a period correct rebuild, but 1) Kudos for re-reinventing a great frame and riding it! 2) Thanks for not powder-coating it gray :lol: :lol:

The good news is that I got the frame back from the pinstriper. It looks great! It was done by Bob Strucel in Westland, MI. His contact information can be found here at the "Business Directory" page: http://www.memorylane-classics.com/ The bad news is I guessed wrong on the bottom bracket...

Hopefully the frame will be back from the pinstriper later this week. In the meantime, my buddy clearanced the TruVative bottom bracket adapters. The counterbore in the shell isn't as deep as the adapter is thick. I think I have everything now, so it should go together pretty quickly :D
