    tyres this bike does look very waspish! i really like those yellow sidewalls.. my specialised 'dirt control/dirt master' comps had a yellow stripe on the sidewalls and went well with my yellow karakoram when i first built it up in 98. that x-lite bar is ok actually...keep the tyres as is i say! :)

    xlite about 18 months ago i had to move and a huge purge had to happen...i threw out my rigid GT forks that came with my 98 yellow karakoram frame (bought in 98 i might add!) and also a box full of all sorts...LX and XT front and rear mechs...X-lite expert flat bars in black....a red...

    grips i had some of those clear grips years ago and they didn't last! but i have yeti grips on my airbourne and softer yeti grips on my GT, the ones with the big oval shaped pad, supposedly to save the ulnar nerve, just like the specialised body geometry gloves aim too... the yeti logo grips...

    nuke proof i started reading all the comments in this thread but then just sped through it looking for the pictures of the nuke themed eye candy so i guess that gives it away. never owned any nukeproof but always wanted something with that logo on it! the ti frame looks gorgeous.

    lucky strike Hi, I have a lucky strike, 19inch frame, and it is an awesome piece of work! the welds are indeed beautiful, very very neat...where ever they were welded they are gorgeous. Anyone in the market for a ti frame this size should definately check it out!
