Dura Ace 7410 with flat bars - which levers?

Hi I'm building a flat bar bike and want to use my 7410 8 speed groupset. Can anyone tell me which Shimano Sti combined brake/gear levers for flat bars will give the correct shifting? The closest I can find is the Str 221 but I'm worried about accurate shifting as I believe the 7410...

    Framebuilding book

It's interesting that it's illegally reproduced content. Tim Paterek deserves to be paid for the work that he did. He's produced a wealth of information and structured it in a very usable manual. That in itself is worthy of reasonable financial reward. Ernst

    pinarello 2002 bottom bracket threads

One other thing that you might need to think about. If you're using cranks that need a bottom bracket spindle with a square taper fit, then Campag and Shimano use a slightly different taper. Campag uses an ISO taper while Shimano is JIS. Theyre not really interchangeable as they give different...

Not sure I agree with that. I should probably check which period we're talking about? I was referring to the last 10-15 years or so where American custom steel framebuilders (many of whom learned their trade in the UK) have revitalized the steel frame market.

    Colnago Master Olympic- info please?

Hi Thanks. The frame hasn't been touched up but it's interesting that once fully built, the paint chips aren't so noticeable. The pedals are a cheap set of MKS platform types. I prefer toe straps to clips and they look correct. Next steps? Ideally a Record or Chorus 8/9 groupset and a...

    Colnago Master Olympic- info please?

Hi Almost done. Built using Dura Ace 7410 groupset and 3TTT bars and stem. I would have preferred a Campag groupset but finding a Record 8/9 speed at an affordable price isn't easy. Ernst http://www.flickr.com/photos/ernstkallus/6256371097/ PS, can't get photos to show in my post?

    Dura Ace brake spares anyone?

Hi I desperately need to find a small part for a Dura Ace 7403 brake. Its called the 'adjusting nut bushing' on Shimano's parts diagram and is the litttle hard plastic/rubber bush that sits in the brake arm, that the screw adjuster fits into. I need this to complete a build. Anyone know...
