Re: Could try replacing the schrader valve cores as that'll be the cheapest option and doesn't require taking the fork apart. Failing that you can get rebuild kits with all seals. The UK servce centre will still service these old forks.

Great tyres for these parts. Money from sales will go towards a 650b set! Collection no problem. I'd be happy with £10 collected.

I wonder if the forks are OE to the bike? Could explain a 'lower-end' brace?

Re: Should be ok. Give 'em a service as per manual and they'll be good for another few years.

Both red knobs preload the springs. Turning in the '+' direction stiffens, '-' softens. The knob marked 'rebound' has a slot in the centre. Wind the slotted bit in the '+' direction to slow the rebound and in the '-' to speed it up. http://www.marzocchi.com/template/listM ... K&idC=1592
