Old style, without groove. In good condition. Don't mind a few marks under the taped area, but the central raised clamp section needs to be clean and unscratched. No holes drilled for 1980s brake cables!

Measured it last night: Seat tube C-T: 21.25" (54cm) Top tube C-C: 55cm It seems to have a bit of everything, in terms of groupset!: Galli cantilever brakes with CLB levers. Stronglight 5 bolt single chainset with inner & outer chainguards. Campag Nuovo Record rear mech Shimano bar end shifter...

Wondering what to do with this old chap. A genuine HQ CX bike with single chainset. Would make a nice touring or training bike with the right adaptations, as I can't see it ever competing in CX again. Any thoughts?

I don't mind aluminium, titanium or good quality lightweight steel (eg 531). I like bikes made of metal. Must have mudguard clearance and mudguard eyes. Pannier rack fittings aren't required, but no problem if it has them. No touring frames with canti bosses. Needs to take calliper or disc...
