Can a bmx be identefied just by the frame number..i believe i have an old 80s bmx but im unsure about the frame its been painted a few times and only markings are the frame numbers.any help greatly appreciated.

I picked this up the other day...guy told me it was all original but i reckon it has been painted..i am unsure what bike it is so any info would be great...i can get more pics soon and a frame number if anyone can help me identify this...cheers

Re: Yea thanks for that..the bike has the smallest back sprocket ive ever seen..but the bearings are gone and the parts of the sprocket are smashen in..mainly the tube type piece that presses upto the bearings is ground down..any idea where i can get a replacement sprocket with the bearings...
