They may clean your chain, but you'll ruin it at the same time, KMC say NEVER EVER use one with solvent, it will take the grease out of the internals of the chain, which i presume relates to all makes of bicycle chain. As said before use a rag. http://www.kmcchain.eu/?en/maintenance/
