Looks like the spring has broken! Those V-brakes aren't very special, you can get a replacement spring or another cheap set of Vs or Cantis from a tip bike, maybe. They are pretty standard with items of that quality.

I might want them, but it's too much. I don't know how good they'll look with my frame. I'm going to wait and see what else turns up.... and make some measurements and we'll see~ Thanks for the heads up!
