Marin frame washers? Pivot bushes help please!

The BETD ones is the KP6A bearing and I bought some of them from kinetic bearings on ebay and pressed them in, they seem okay in terms of fitment, no idea on the quality. I've added a penny washer to one side and bolted it all up, there isn't any play or drift and the swingarm moves freely when...

Marin frame washers? Pivot bushes help please!

Re: Bumpty bump. I can't find any information at all for this. I think there should be clips to hold the bearings in place as I can just push them out with little effort. Tried uk marins dealers but they only deal in newer stuff and directed me towards marin direct who don't seem to reply...

    Wheel build advice

I recently sold QR halfraud specials 26" rims, 3 lots at £10 a pair. It's very possible to find cheap 26" rim brake rims on ebay, £20/£30 max. In reality your wives bike is probably worth between 20-40 depending on condition and the time and money spent switching hubs would out weigh that. I...

    Show us your (Marin) Boingers!

Re: This seem like a good place to post this picture as my needs are for a Marin Mount Vision (I think) I had this frame stripped and then I painted it with simoniz tough black and it's come out nice, I have some air forks, 319 rims and 1 x 10 set up for it but I can't find any information...

    Fork identification?

They were £20 on ebay in that condition so I thought what they hell, I've used them and they don't leak and seem mechanically sound. I just saw the gold sanctions and went for it and yes it's an alloy steerer.

    Fork identification?

I think you might be onto something there. The reba come with a serial number on the steerer rather than etched in to the crown it seems, bad move by SRAM/Rockshox. I did wonder if they were Reckon Gold but I think they are too old for that.

    Fork identification?

These are some rockshox forks, no idea on the actual model, maybe you can help? 100mm gold sanctions air on one side QR I.S mount disc only 1 1/8" steerer I cannot find any serial numbers on them, underneath it just says 08. Mechanically they seem sound but I'd like to do an oil change and...

    Recommend a modern mtb

Re: Stanton Slackline. I much perfer steels and would always pick a steel hardtail over alloy. Build your own? Plenty of frames out there.

    Bash guard/chainring bolts?

12mm ones fit perfectly and use all the thread, normal chain ring bolts "should" work okay but I didn't like the fact they only gripped with a few threads once my bash guard was installed. something like this - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ChainRing-Bo ... SwQN5abRsf

Marin frame washers? Pivot bushes help please!

Hi there, I have a Marin frame I'm building up, not sure what model it is but I like the look of it and there a lot of play in the bottom area and I believe there some washers missing? Apparently PVT3108 is the product code for them but I can't find them at all...
