What would you do? Retro Vs modern.....

What do you ride? Sorry if I missed this in the comments but what do you ride the most? And by that I mean what kind of trails? and what style of riding? As surely that'll dictate what's the most suitable option for you. These days I find I don't really ride my Prestige that much as I've got...

    Camera Bag?

Re: Re: I use the opposite rule and go for the smallest bag I can get away with, the bigger the bag the more crap you will put in it and the more it will weigh and the less inclined you are to take it with you. That said I have two very different manfrotto backpacks which I really like, one...

five excuses not to ride to work

I used to do 10 miles each way to and from work on the bike but now I fall strongly in the box 2 category as having move out the city and an into the country my commute has go up to 25 miles each way, and whilst I ride in once or twice a month I challenge you to find anyone who can do a half...

Bespoke Steel Hardtail - What's not to love?

The price wasn't too bad, yes the frame is double that of say an Orange P7 frame but I was able to do a few deals here and there and the total build came in similar to what an equivalent spec P7 would cost if you bought it fully built.

Bespoke Steel Hardtail - What's not to love?

The hoses have now been shortened. No idea weight wise, I didn't weigh the frame before I started building it and I'm definitely not going to strip it down to weigh the frame.

Bespoke Steel Hardtail - What's not to love?

It's 650B, long, stack & low and grips, boy does it grip, and corner it's like it's on rails.

Bespoke Steel Hardtail - What's not to love?

I initially ordered the frame late October / early November time with the idea of racing it in the Hardtail Class in the British Enduro Series only for the race series to be cancelled within days of the frame arriving. Never the less I got it built up and done a few shake down rides and I have...

Are there any plans to do another one of these? As I need a bit of motivation to get the old Prestige out on the trails

Found - Long Rockshox Rebound Adjuster Knob

Re: It's for a pair sektors, RockShox call it the long version as it's bigger than most of the forks use but confusingly they do an even bigger one but that's too big for me.

Has anyone built a wheel with Hope Pro 4 straight pull hubs?

I read similar comments on other websites whilst searching for information on the hubs and reached the conclusion that at £1 a spoke I don't want to risk ordering the wrong size.

Has anyone built a wheel with Hope Pro 4 straight pull hubs?

I'm struggling to find the dimensions of these hubs to plug into the spike calculators. So does anyone have any experience with them? If so what dimensions did you use and which spoke calculator and where the results accurate.
