Early 2000's Kona Roast WTF do I have?

That almost looks like it could be a Saracen, but unlikely, just the dropouts are similar. My first thought is stolen, serial number removed then resprayed, as the replaceable dropout is the same colour too.

    Spin tri spoke wheels info

I don't think they was fitted to any bike from the supplier, was always the shops that fitted them afterwards. Back in the 90's I had a 20" set on my trials bike and a 26" set on a GT zaskar, again, used for trials. Bearing were always easy to change and get hold of. I've seen them fitted on...

    112mm BB axle

Lets start with some tech info: J.I.S. is the Japanese Industrial Standard, and on square taper cranks, so Shimano and various other brands from asia. ISO square taper spindles run longer, and taper down to a smaller end than J.I.S. spindles do. Most European-made square-taper cranks and...

    fatty super head fork help

Everything looks like it is sitting where it should be. Are the headset bearings ok? they are sealed cartridge, so they should feel smooth with no play If its the headshock, they have lots of needle bearings in them, not for the faint hearted taking them apart, headshock forks do need a...

Question regarding safety when botching a wheel

In my opinion of having seen this many times, when 1 or 2 supporting spokes on the drive side go, the others follow suit and break, removing the other spoke unfortunately does no make it straight, you will then have the problem of it going up and down, worst case scenario, brake pads rubbing on...

    Manitou Fork Service

I have serviced many Manitou SX forks, now bad news for you the adjusters were rubbish. Now, they have a TPC in one side which works well, it could be that the o rings have perished, but most likely years of grime stopping them working. A good service would sort, I can still service them...

    rebuilding manitou mars c

That sounds like you could have a small amount of moisture in the lower legs, mix it with grease and voila, a good clean fresh grease, suspension specific, and check the TPC while your there, that may need an oil change :D

That's a titanium frame, a few similarities with many other ti frames I have worked on, the dropouts are a giveaway, and screw in brake bosses, bottom bracket, very nice bikes too.

XTR rd 952 CAPACITY AND COMPATIBILITY

The XTR 952 came in 2 sizes, short and long, it will work with your 10spd STI's, I'm not so sure how well a short cage will perform with those ratios, more than likely it will be ok, you will need to check the chain on the jockey wheels, which should be ok If its a 10spd 105 I would be incline...

    2001 marzocchi bombers

Tazio, I think your right, they are Z5's, although there is not much difference between them, on further inspection, they are not adjustable, so that's what makes them Z5's :)
