    Any eBike love here?

My wife bought one a few years back to start riding a bit more again after not doing much for a few years (post kids) and she loves it, uses it for family rides, out on road rides and some mtb action too. I've taken it out for a play a few times myself and they're brilliant, I found myself...

    Foam grips

I used to use ESI chunkys on my rigid, they were really good but instantly became a nightmare if your hands got wet or muddy. They're pretty easy to fit using some spray on brake cleaner or similar, clean bars with it first and then spay inside the grip and they slide straight on then stick...

    Planet X Jack Flash info

Cool bikes, i used to have an orange one built up as a DJ bike. They came in 2 lengths which made them a good jump bike option for taller riders as everything else at the time was really short. Some DJ3 forks and hilariously heavy steel 3-pc cranks is the direction aim for.

Raleigh RSP 400 Proline MTrax FS

Just measure eye to eye on the shock and get the right size, they made loads of sizes so I bet there's one to fit. The fame doesnt look to have any funny geometry requirements so I bet it'd go straight on.

Bet you could get a little RP23 to go on there and make it pedal better.

    ebay basket case?

Re: I've no doubt that could be brought back to good as new by people with the skills to do so, the bigger question would be the cost of such a repair and if it was worth it in the long run? I follow a company called target composites on facebook and some of their work that pops up is amazing...

    Cinelli nemo

Sounds like a winner. If you're planning on doing flatish races or crits then weight is much less of an issue anyway, plus you get the grin factor of riding something you really wanted to.

    Handlebar materials?

You can't generalise by material, there are more contributory factors than that at play. I've had carbon bars that are like an iron bar, and aluminium bars that were terrifyingly flexy.

Lezyne are good and reasonably priced compared to some.

    Most durable winter drivetrain?

It would be easy to say 8sp or whatever due to the thicker chains, but iv got nothing but amazement by how long my SRAM GX 1x11 has lasted, it's been through hell and back and still works flawlessly.

GT Force, I got one a few months back and it's awesome. It's 27.5 but it didn't really hold Martin Maes back in the EWS

New to BMX Racing - New Bike Purchase

Same boat, one of my lads is getting really into racing and the 'Dad' scene seems to be pretty healthy. The last race I took him to I stood on the sidelines and got a real itch to get back involved. Just ordered a new Haro 26er to have a go and do some riding with him, he's got another race...

    98 gt speed series

Love the GT speed series bikes, looking forward to seeing this built. I've just picked up a 2020 version for my lad to race on, still great bikes.

Looking for a fork for a older bike for my son.

Rockshox Duke's are the often forgotten gems of short travel forks. Should be able to pick a nice pair up for about £30 or so, disc or V, airsprung and 80mm travel.
