    I may have made a mistake! 1999 GT XCR 3000 i drive.

Yes. I think I'll try and find something cheap to tide her over for a while until she grows into it. It really is in lovely condition, other than leaky forks, but I've a set of Manitou Axel forks I can stick on to sort that. I'll have to try and find somewhere to stash it for a while!

I've only had hardtails before, so just hadn't thought about it. She will grow into it eventually, but there is a danger I might nick it before that! Just not sure if it's a big enough frame for me. Suppose I better sneak in a ride when she's not looking!

About 1.5m, so just fits an adult small frame at a push, but that extra ground clearance is a killer.

Well yes, I suppose I could just be patient! I'll have to buy something else in the meantime though 😆

    I may have made a mistake! 1999 GT XCR 3000 i drive.

Just bought this bike, intending it to be my daughter's first adult sized bike. However I failed to take into account the ground clearance! The frame is fine once she's on it, but getting on it is quite a struggle! However, the bike is much better condition than I expected, 1 owner from new...

Swap Anyone fancy a tyre swap? Mavic High Roller 2's 2.4x26

Well my original front tyre on the Rockhopper finally gave up, so it seemed like a good excuse to fit this. Looked great, but excitement turned to crushing disappointment when I fitted the rear. Just too big for my frame. Anyone fancy a swap for something a little more tame? Based near the...

    1985 Peugeot identification. PY10 LS?

Thanks. It must have had a busy first 5 years years of its life, as it's certainly had no work done since 1990.

    1985 Peugeot identification. PY10 LS?

Odd that it would have been resprayed so early in its life. No obvious signs, though I guess it could be the same colour. I guess that would explain the absence of any other stickers on the frame.

    1985 Peugeot identification. PY10 LS?

Hi, thanks for the info. Interesting! It's a real minefield trying to figure these bikes out! Yes, the quill post is a bit of a pain, having to take the seat off to adjust the height! Interesting point on the decals. Do you think they are not original then?

    1985 Peugeot identification. PY10 LS?

Hi, Recelent prised this off my dad. He bought it in about 1990 from a chap who raced in. He did London to Brighton and a couple of other things and then it's done not a lot since. I've given it a clean, popped some modern tyres on and that's about it. Rides lovely! I think from the frame spec...
