Saddle comfort - Turbo vs Unicanitor

Hi, I'm thinking about replacing a beat-up saddle for a late 80s mtb I should receive soon. I'm struggling between an Italia Turbo or a Cinelli Unicanitor. Both seem a great option, but the Cinelli is appealing to me as it's a less common one. I've already ride a road bike with a Turbo and do...

I'm glad you liked it. This page of history is quite fascinating. Also, some tips to take for the bikepackers ;)

The slides are of better quality on this video. But it is missing the Philly Bike Expo vibe ;)

Any Specialized M2 S-Works Team Edition experts out there?

The other 1992 S-works M2 found on the web all have in common the 92 T ****-6* The last * being a letter, not a number

Any Specialized M2 S-Works Team Edition experts out there?

Thank you. At least, for the first gen of S-works the first number seems to indicate the year. But indeed, not easy to decipher the rest of the ID.

Any Specialized M2 S-Works Team Edition experts out there?

I'm digging this thread out of years of dust ;) I also have a 1992 Specialized Stumpjumper S-works M2. Just the frame. The paint has been removed by a previous owner. It seems it was a black paint, so it might be the normal S-works M2 edition. But I'm not 100% sure about that. I also...

    XT M730-735 group set

Indeed the Araya VP 20 rims are very common. But with XT hub, they might provide years of good service. My main wheel set is XT hub (next gen) and Campagnolo Zark rims. So now I have an alternative ;)

Thanks. I do not have a Specialized fork, but I have this one. I think it will be a good match 🤔

    XT M730-735 group set

Hi, I have started to strip down a bike, bought for its XT group set. The bike didn't seem to have been used more than a handful of time. And indeed, under a bit if dust, I am happily surprised by the newness aspect of the group set. I should use it on a 1992 Specialized S works M2 with a...

    Show us your pre-'97 Trek

I m starting a restoration on a singletrack 970 from 1992. It was in a pretty bad shape when I bought it, but almost complete and as it was in 1992. I did a light first work on it and tested it in a 2 hours ride. I still have a lot to do on it, but what a great geometry!
