Re: When I purchased my blue Vitus in 1987 I used the same vintage Dura Ace. One of the things that made me rather unsure about the frame is that it came with instructions as to reglueing the frame if it became "unstuck". Also mentions the use of olive oil in the frame to preserve the finish.

Can anybody tell me if I can use a 1992 Athena sealed bearing bottom bracket on a 1990 Athena crankset? I have a 1990 Cannondale Athena which has the old loose ball bearing bottom bracket I would like to replace. Thank you for reading. Chuck

My name is Chuck, I am new here. I have been riding classic bikes since 72. Juenets, Vitus, Cannondale and my favorite Klein. Its a very cold winter here in Minnesota so this is a good time to catch up on vintage bikes. Would love to hear from fellow enthusiasts, particularly Klein people. Chuck L
