forks are the forks still for sale

i have just put my front wheel in pace rc35 forks the hub flanges seem very close to the bottom of the fork stanchions does it just need a couple of washers on to space it out?

is it in good fettle

any one got any rc35 elastomers or other parts for my forks

i have a hope rear hub on a team marin light the sealed bearing on the left hand side seems to be sticking out by about 6 mil looks odd is this how it should be or does it need pressing in right up to the hub body.

couple of ways we used to do it in the shop heat and then throw cold water over it sometimes that works something to do with one of the metals cooling down quicker than the other if you get my drift .the other way turn the bike upside down and put the post in a vice and use the frame as a lever...
