sept 1981 3 speed Raleigh bomber restoration

Drawn back here via a Twitter at the hint of a Bomber - I had one identical* to this! What an awesome job - much respect :-) * Apart from the bent seatstay where I was taken out by a car on the way home from school. They're tougher than they look!

Wanted: Specialized Ground Control Pair SORTED!

I've got two pairs in poor-average nick. A worn and faded set: Ground Controls set 2 by Jonathan Bateman, on Flickr And a slightly less worn and less faded set: Ground Controls set 1 by Jonathan Bateman, on Flickr More pics in that set on Flickr Both a bit cracked in places. £15...

That's very nice indeed... and the other one too :-) Both much neater than the Saracen badged one I found in my brother-in-law's garage this summer... The full effect... by Jonathan Bateman, on Flickr

Do I or Dont I ??? Is it worth the money ???? BONTRAGER !!

Wow - I'm so pleased somebody has bought that as I don't think I could have held out any longer... it's identical to one I still have the rusting remains of (1989/90 or so btw), only a size smaller. Even it not fitting me nearly didn't put me off ;-) I have an original bonty seat binder if...

    Kestrel CSX - finished

I saw this bike in the flesh at lunchtime today on the street in York... I unashamedly stopped to stare for a minute ;-) Very nice.
