where to find 15g plain stainless spokes?

trying to sort out the wheels on my restoration project and the spokes are all snapping, they're long gone they measure about 1.8mm diameter which I guess makes them 15g, but I can't find any 15g stainless spokes anywhere, or is 14g the only option these days? I worry that 14g wouldn't fit when...

is anybody interested in new weinmann pivot bolts?

I see a lot of poor ones and not many good ones, here are mine: I have been looking into getting replicas of these made in stainless steel, but it only becomes cost effective in higher quantities, so I am just gauging interest basically, if I had 50 pairs made it would end up £6 per pair...

lets hope most of the corrosion cleans off without leaving too much of a mess, it would be a shame to have to paint over them

forgot to add, the lever clamps will be showing because the levers/hoods don't look like they will allow for covering them, and they were left exposed originally

Re: Re: I don't expect to restore the bike to showroom condition, I think that would ruin a bit of its character if I did (and ruin my wallet!), I have used the tin foil thing many times before, it helps remove the rust as it's harder than iron oxide but softer than steel, and that helps greatly...

Freddie Grubb project - vintage wheelset question

thanks, considering the work being done I think the price is ok, though my concern about doing it myself was the durability of the paint and I think with lacquers and self etching primers I can get a paint that won't peel easily anyway, so perhaps for me the money would be better off going into...
