Tri bars are back on and it''s had a wipe down with a damp cloth. There''s a few extra scuffs and scrapes under the grime. The components are in better nick than I thought and the chrome isn't too far gone to bring back.

Well spotted. I stuck that SLX one straight over the top of the Aelle one when I was 16. Not sure if I should peel it off now? The horrible cheap Campagnolo stickers were added at the same time along with my name lettered down the underside of the downtube, though this has vanished mysteriously...

Yeah. My modern Carrera won't go that low. The tops of the MB's bars are about an inch lower than full drop on the Carrera. A bit of rake soon adds some attitude to a bike. All mine are slammed at the front end for no other reason than it looking cool. About time I grew up eh?

This is my old Lo pro that I've owned since I was 15, back in 1992! It''s a Columbus Aelle frameset which is weird in that it has concealed gear cables routed through its down tube, but it has its rear brake cable routed externally along its top tube. This bike hasn't turned a wheel since '94...

Finally got posting pictures sorted. Here is my 23 year old unrestored MB Dronfield with its Columbus Multishape frame. Recomissioning begins in the next few weeks with an upgrade to Record as I go. This will end up the bike it always should have been if I had the money, but as I was only 16...

This is the bike I'm after a decent headset for. Slowly I'm upgrading the original groupset to Record, but I still think a Mavic or Miche would suit it with it being a bit quirky.
