Re: I have no idea I’m afraid - I’m a bit of an ingoramus when it comes to these things!

Here are a few snaps of it since I put the 7700 groupset on it. Keep meaning to pick up some less scuffed cranks but I've stopped noticing it now so I probably never will!

Thats a cracking colour (the blue sparkle)! Thanks for the kind words - it really is a lovely bike to ride and I've grown to love it (never would have chosen a white bike if im honest, but the frame turned up at exactly the right time, the right size, and the right ££!).

    WTD: Dura ace 7400/7402 cranks

I'm after some 7400/7402 cranks - around 170mm-ish. Presentable to great condition. I don't need chainrings, particularly. What's out there? Thanks

Old Ribble steel bike made by Martelly? Pic heavy

Yeah, love the paint on this :-) Surprised you got a response from Ribble - I've tried to contact them a couple of times about mine and no response!

Re: Cheers, I've actually subsequently upgraded this to Dura Ace 7700. I did like the 'champagne' 105, but I've appreciated 9-speed and the extra shininess since the upgrade!

Re: Cheers, it’s a lovely frame with lots of nice little features. I’m a sucker for fastback etc seat stays and I really like the shot through ones on this frame. Nice elegant internal routing and also round the B.B. I think £380 might be around what I’ve spent on this, more or less...

    WTD: Dura Ace 7410 cranks

I'm after some 7410 cranks - preferably 170mm but 172.5 or 175 would do. I'd prefer presentable and cheap to NOS and pricey :) Bristol-based so local or posted Cheers!

Ah, that's interesting - i'd love to see one of those ads! I actually really like the 105 groupset - shifts well and I even think the 'champagne' colour works surprisingly well with the pearlescent white paint. DA would only be for showey-ness :D can't imagine i'd notice a weight saving or...

Managed to build this bike up just before having a second child, which zapped all my free time meaning I rarely get a chance to ride the thing :? Nothing against my Surly 'people carrier' or my ratty 70s track bike commuter but when i do get a chance to hop on this, i remember just how nice it...
