    Ya, it´s light for that time. My Axis R was under 12 kg originally, i added a few things so it is at maybe 13 kg. Still pretty ok, i guess. Compared to the aluminium-framed GT Avalanche i had before, i don´t feel much of a difference driving them. The Axis-frame is also quite stiff....

    Cool. I liked the old Diamondbacks. Axis, Apex,... nice and sleek bikes, not those fat aluminium tubes. And they were quite exclusive in Germany. At least in my region not many retailers sold them, dont know why. They climb like crazy, and they are really hardcore... no suspension... just...
