its a brand new alivio shifter and cable fitted thursday night. i had a look at the hanger but it doesnt look bent?? would pics be of any help?? thanks mike

I need some help, im having a few shifting issues and cant seem to work out what im doing wrong...... im getting a clicking sound in 2nd but only in 2nd, when i go down my gears it wont run smooth in 2nd however when i run up my gears it jumps from 3rd to 1st?? ive adjusted everything time...

hi 8) im after a single ring crankset with a 34t / 36t chain ring. must be square taper bb and in good condition, preferably black?? or maybe a triple with removable rings (shimano etc....) cheers for looking mike

im a big lad and ran d521 ceramics on XT hubs for years on my old GT and i absolutly loved them never buckled or dented and they took some serious abuse too freeride and XC riding :D

well after alot of net trawling looking for shifters levers etc... i managed to get a brand new alivio 8spd shifter and brand new set of avid FR-5 levers for the grand total £24.98 :D :D :D thanks for all the advice given!!! :wink:

ive spent a fair bit on bike stuff lately (mrs not too impressed lol) so im gonna put the 9 spd conversion on hold for a while :? till i got the £££ to do the wole lot.... chainset, rear mech, shifter and chain all at once :D
