Can you still get 24.4 seat posts anywhere? I have one on my orange p7 1996 as part of my rebuild was looking looking at getting a new post as the old one is looking a little tired! Any help would be fantastic.

Thanks for that, I think I will keep out 7 speed and stick with sti shifters and cantilever brakes unless I can find some decent 7 speed shifters???

Hi, I have a set of mavic 121dh ceramic rims built On to stxrc hubs with a 7 speed cassette. Does anyone No weather I could put an 8 speed cassette on instead? And if I have to change the hub would it still fit in my frame? Any help would be great Cheers

Thanks for the help, it's out the shed now and ready to go to work tomorrow so I can have a good look at it in my breaks!! It is the nickel version and as musc as I love it like that the idea of powder coated in black is appealing to me but its early days so will keep the progress posted
