    It's been blasted and is in the paint shop as we speak. A few blemishes but hopefully the dark grey metallic will hide most of them.

    Here are a few more (poor quality - damn iphone) pictures. The down tube at the head tube does not appear to be ovalized. The dropouts are shimano. Perhaps this bike was tig welded due to the fact that it was (perhaps) built for Brent Martin as Paul stated? That it was destined to be abused...

    Ok I'll try to get better pictures but when I first uploaded these ones I got an error indicating that the files were too big. I had to make them smaller in order to upload. I say it's an '88 because it's serial 381 and PB confirmed it. I didn't see a . but that does not mean it's not there...

    Thanks .. Yeah, turns out it's a romax. Guess I got lucky. PB thinks it was originally Imron dark grey metallic. Any help finding the paint code would be appreciated.
