Thanks for the quick response, I picked the flite as I've been using one for years find them comfy and I know where I am with them. I was a bit disappointed that I could not have one on the new bike. I'd never heard of a Gobi until yesterday hence the question.

Anyone using one? I'm just about to take delivery of a new bike and speced a flite ti classic but I've been told it won't fit my RaceFace Dues seatpost. I've been offered a Fizik Gobi as an alternative but never tried one. Any thoughts ? Thanks

Was out last night in the local woods, just a dusting of snow but huge fun just got to remember to wrap up warm and don't stop for to long. The frozen ruts are a challenge the grounds rock solid. Enjoy and stay safe. :-)

I've not long bought some Endura mt500 overshoes and combined with thick socks my feet are always toasty and dry. One of the best £25 I've ever spent.

I'm happy to ride my hard tail, no full sus rig for me. I'm into social riding with my mates sometimes we ride hard other times we don't but we always enjoy. I can't be arsed with people that take it all to serious it's all about pleasure IMO :-)

I'm Looking for a set of lock on grips for my new setup with low riser bars but tbh I've not a clue what to go for. I'm looking for something nice and comfy for longer rides so please can I have some suggestions to ponder on. Thanks

I fitted my new risers along with the Ringle stem yesterday and tried it out today. It did feel a little odd at first but after an hour or so it all came together much much better :D I found the extra width of the risers a real bonus in the tight turns, much more control and on the steep...

Re: red ringle I have a brand new pewter cage with L bracket screws and washers, its never seen daylight so is box fresh but not looking to swap.

Just bought a set of xt V's to replace my cantie's fed up of poor brakes TBH.

I often think " I've got go to work tomorrow" :? My mate has bar ends on the new rockhopper and although it's a more comfy ride I did still find myself reaching for the bar ends on the road sections as an even more relexed approach.

After a 3 hr ride tonight I'm happy to report that the riding is much improved with the saddle and stem adjustments I made yesterday. I've also bought a set of low xc risers which I'll try along with the new stem. Had another try of my mates rockhopper and liked the feel of the more relaxed...
