Hi I have a 91 Marin Palisades and am looking through change the seatpost. The original seatpost is 26.2 in diameter The replacement is a USE 25.2 I have found a Cane Creek shim but it is designed for a 25.4 diameter seatpost and a 26.2 seat tube My question is will I be able to fit this...

Thanks gents The cable stop is on the right side of the brake (campagnolo) so i think it would be neater if the right did the front brake and the left did the rear do you think it would look wrong this way?

Should hopefully have some pics up in a few weeks :D Taken a bit of a chance with the re enamel, chosen metallic black with three bands towards the top of the seat tube, not really in keeping with the age of the frame but with all the modern components thought it might all come together
