    Greg Lemond Frame identification

Hi Boscarn. Your Lemond seems to be identical to my 1993 GAN frame, although yours was red. The frame number of my frame is 316034, 13 lower than yours, Mine is a 56cm btw and there are photos of it on this forum, which you've probably seen. I have since stripped it of components and have taken...

    identifying Old pros bikes.

An old mate of mine rode for Patrick Schils in the 80s. He was measured up and had a Merckx built for him but he never got on with it: Not really suitable for Kellogg's City Centre stuff. So he had a Rourke built and sprayed and stickered out of his own pocket to look like his Merckx. Pretty...

    Steel Lemond I.D.

Mine's a GL, It Columbus SL but rebadged. It also has a Cobalto brakeset, it did have the whole first generation C-record group but Ergo-shifters put and end to that! At the end of last year an un-used and boxed Cobalto brakeset with levers went for $600.00 on ebay!!

    Steel Lemond I.D.

I've looked and it does have SILVA under the brake bridge, so it is a Bilato. I can't believe I hadn't seen that before! Thanks for the info. :) Just for the record if anyone's interested... I bought it new in 1992, it's Columbus SL (sold a Lemond GL tubing) with Columbus castings throughout...

Hi Retro bike. This is my first post. I wonder if you can help. I have a Greg Lemond Gan team frame, the first type...blue rear, yellow at the front with blue fork tips. I've heard that these were built by Bilato and they have 'silv' underneath. Mine doesn't have this which makes me think...
