This frame 49 frames younger than mine. Mine, No. 3850, was purchased in SFco, also in 1992. Strangely yours don't have the noodle. I am also planning to replace my Rock Shox with a Type II or a Ti rigid. Good luck with the rebuild.

To me it looks as if the bike is too big for you. I also recall you were looking at the 23. With 6ft height, you still would of being fine, or better off on a 23. The way your leg is stretched with the pedal location, it looks like you need to lower your seat post.

Hey neil, What did you do with the original seat that was on your bike on JJ's blog? While he was building mine, I looked over pics of your, and thought of getting a set of them fenders. But some how it got lost in the comms, so maybe later (unless I will be able to build some myself)...
