Eh up, I've just acquired a Kona Cinder Cone 1994 and am stuck as to what tyres to put on it. I did immediately think of the Smoke/Dart combo, but despite the reissue I can't find them in the UK. What I'm after is some fast XC tyres that'll cope with all-day riding in the UK - not fussed about...

Hello! Can anybody help me out with sizing for a 2003 cinder cone? I'm 5ft 9 but with a longish torso and was looking at a size 17 - online of course so I haven't been able to try it for size. Am not sure whether the 17 or 18 is classed as medium. Cheers

Minor point but Pantani climbed D'Huez at the end of a 203km stage when he set his record (D'Huez is always a summit finish as there's only one road up/down the mountain). There seems little doubt now that most of the big hitters in the 90's were doping systematically. If you weren't doping...
