Your still missing the point...i have recieved and taken plenty of advice... Its the lets all comment on the daft ebay auctions, us retrobike experts, on the highly priced items, when the same thing goes on here, but rules state no comments on stupid prices because as its a retro site its ok to...

Ye at a huge premium, my point was from the start, we all laugh at ebay prices, but its not allowed on ripofbike. I wonder why...mmmm :D

I totally agree bud...and all of the supposed experts...please give us normal bike builders a break...who like to twin old classic parts n frames, with up to date technology, to make bikes a better ride from when they were made back in the day. Its gives me pleasure to restore, give new life...

There was £400 of xtr gear on it...£150 for the pace forks...bought off retrobike...and all other new parts....a bargain at that spec, guy was so excited, in his 40s like me too, i think just appreciated the quality, finishing touches and the superb seller :D

Its all taken in good faith...but you have to admit, prices on here can be super stupid... Anyway its roadie time...onwards and upwards with the lycra...literally :D Im sure another build wont be too far away :twisted:

I ended the auction myself as it was a cash on collection sale...no ebay fees, no gaypal rip off fees....actually.

Hey all...yep its my bike build... The reason why bike is so feckin expensive is that i bought all parts from retrobike :twisted: We all know the situation....put retro or vintage in front and it gains a % or in some cases, makes more than they cost new :D If it makes £600 im happy :D...

Hi all, Has anybody got said manual for stripping down please? My adjuster when turned from 1-2 does not dampen anymore.... Im guessing new oil? Seals? 2nd question, does anybody have parts for sale for rebuild? and what quantity/grade oil do i need? Best place to buy... All help...
