Hi Trickydisco I am attempting the same upgrade, shifting my old 105 (BR-1055) (7 speed) groupset from my now, trashed dawes to a cheapy temp frame. The removed single pivot brakes are - Weinmann 500s. But the brake stay tubing will not accomodate the length of bolt required to grip the 105...
