1988 Tufftrax - very good example now I tightened the loose bearings and freed off rhe ones that were too tight.

Damn right they did, but it was a long time ago.... This Classic Aluminium 200 is a better ride than my Muddy Fox Pathfinder from the same period and actually very similar to my 89 Tufftrax. I love the dayglo colour and it is still on its original tyres.

I have an Emmelle Classic Aluminium 200 in dayglo yellow which is actually a reasonable bike and looks great. I've never seen another, the components suggest it is about 1990. My boy rides an Emmelle Slammer which is a bit heavy, but he likes it.

Emmelle chainset is the same as the biospace I have on my 89 Tufftrax. Brakes are very similar too.

My reference to the Emmelle was somewhat flippant I admit - pending collection I think the Saracen will have to stay complete. However, the Emmelle Classic Aluminium 200 in dayglo yellow is actually a super bike that is joy to ride now I sorted the STI shifters - and leave outside the pub...

Most of these dolts can't read or write so they steal bikes to break up and sell on scumbay.

I bought a rough but running 71 MK1 Chopper for my son to do a riding restoration. He rode it once and declared it was crap and far prefers his Emmelle Slammer. Must say, I agree.

Yes indeed, I like low end. It is cheap, so I can park it and not worry that some scrote will steal it.
