Ok looks like I will Singlespeed the explosif. And sacrilege I know but I would like to fit some contemporary forks obv no more than 100mm. Any recommendations for new forks ? A headset

A pair of wheels and tyres that came off a 1982 Dawes Diploma rear wheel has a sturmey archer 3 speed hub. Plus F and Rear Dawes stainless steel mudguards. £15 the lot - ideally must collect from Chichester though we are heading to the North west this weekend so could arrnage a meet up.
