From memory, didn't they produce a rerun of KZ-1 frame and forksets from original blueprints avout 3-4 years ago? It is the same Kuwahara as back then, although I suspect a lot of actual Kuwahara built bikes were done as a a fabricator for other brands.

I think one of the guys over at burnerworld sold a curtis F&F for £35 the other day, but it was pickup only somewhere in the north, and he'd used it for "spray paint" experimentation. Still worth buying but too far from me....

Yep - it's a senior pro frame mated to formula 1 forks. It's an 83 but the same frame as the early 82 Leary Turbo's. The bars are DB Leary custom bend, the stem is a Sugino Diamond Back Branded stem, the crank is a DB formula 1 with smoked chrome spider, mated to nos Sugino 46t chainring...

Someone at Rad has some red tuffs £130 at the moment. Coloured tuffs, red, blue and the later pastels don't really seem to come up that often, black seems to be the common colour. Well done, btw, how much did you pay for the frame?

That first Pro Burners fantastic. Under rated when new - I think it was a full cro mo koizumi built F&F wasn't wi with a pretty competitive spec. Same money new £225 bought a DBsilver treak which was only cro mo front triangle. Quite rare too, as "Raleigh" didnt have the name for entry...

I've got a similar problem, with a Diamond back Formula 1 fork. It's supposedly a 10mm axle, but the bike when new and complete came with araya 1.5 wheels (unusual as the usual size was 1.175). The axles came with "flat spots" as a safety feature so that the axle needed to"slot in" to fit...
