Thanks for the input folks Picked it up today, it's certainly a bit of a hodge podge!!!!!! From what I can tell from the Internet the 93 theory looks about right!!! Serial number starts with P3, dropout shape looks to match early frame, oval seat tube at BB and rack boss's "through" the seat...

Absolutely go for the DB spokes if you can strech to it!!!!! As far as build cost goes, it sounds very reasonable!!!! People pay a lot more going by what I've seen on here :shock: Good luck with getting them sorted although there are some very good online resources if you decide have a go...

I've just started building wheels again after a break of about 17 years. Turning a pile of bits in to a wheel is very satisfying!!!!! :D As far as things I don't enjoy......greasing hub bearing kinda makes me loose the will to live!!!! :?
