Trader Apparently Going out of Business

Took a look at your bike make (Curtlo, not seen one before) and found this: http://www.cyclofiend.com/cc/2008/cc493-laurencep0608.html Made me laugh because I've done similar with a Kona Fire Mountain apart from the Gears. Now SS, which is about as much use as ice to an Eskimo where I live....

    BSO or more?

Got a Ballistic frame in the shop, could get the forks and do a complete Ballistic Build but then again don't think the frame we have has got the correct head tube for sus forks so probably better off putting Project Two's or similar on it...

    WHAT'S THIS? Maybe pre-1940??

Took a look at the hub and 52 is printed so I guess the Cycle is: Rudge Ladies Fast Sports 1952 Not in bad condition for a cycle that is 60 years old. I think it's the oldest one we have at Cycle:Recycle

    WHAT'S THIS? Maybe pre-1940??

Thanks, another useful reply. I googled Rudge Ladies Fast Sports and came up with this: http://www.theoldbicycleshowroom.co.uk/c1934-rudge-ladies-fast-sports-1507-p.asp Apparently that's 30's which falls more into the timeline that the couple who donated it alluded to. Will keep...

    WHAT'S THIS? Maybe pre-1940??

Useful Resource Found this whilst looking around: http://www.oldbike.eu/museum/frame-number-bicycle-dating-guide/ From picture's I've seen online it seems that the bike is either 50's or 30's, but I would imagine the former from the research I've done so far, and the other useful posts on...

    WHAT'S THIS? Maybe pre-1940??

Hi, No trick questions but we had this bike donated to us by an elderly couple who said they had been riding it for a long long time and it was possibly pre WW2. I have taken some pictures today but we actually have the cycle hung out of the way outside our workshop in the dry. If...

    Sachs Maillard Freewheel Removal Tool

Thanks for the Info. I've purchased it now and I'll let you know whether it's 22 or 24 splined when it arrives. If it's 22 it'll come in handy anyway and I'll get back to the drawing board.... Hopefully the latter

    OVERBURYS WILDCAT FOR SALE

Checking on price BTW I did do all the usual EBay advanced search and google search but couldn't find much about this particular Cycle at all. So mainly I am basing the price around a similar frame only that sold on EBay a while back and that the old Project Manager said it was as rare as...
