Any help identifying this mystery fillet brazed frame?

Re: Re: ^ yeah i've heard people say that.. it's got some aspects similar to Off Road Toad but it's not one of those that thought had crossed my mind :D the fillets could use a bit of smoothing down too.. that's all in the future though if I decide to repaint yes this is a strong...

Any help identifying this mystery fillet brazed frame?

Re: yes I suspect something "homemade" too, though if this was their only frame, it certainly was ambitious. The cable guide is a metal tube brazed in. I'm not sure what is up with the screw in the BB shell.. the BB is stuck so right now that mystery has to wait If i decide this frame is a...

Any help identifying this mystery fillet brazed frame?

Bought this recently from a guy in Colorado.. can't seem to find any info on it. It used to be neon green at one point, and has a bunch of crazy features, that's all I know

Complete rebuild of 1990's MTB to 2016 XT spec 1x10

If you are going to be spending any effort on the brakes you might as well just replace them completely.. they probably will never offer satisfactory stopping power

1990 Trek 8900 Composite - Carbon, Aluminum and Neon, oh my!

Re: Thanks guys. I took the Trek out for a spin again the other day.. I forgot how agile this bike is.. I need to ride it more often! Feels really good on or off road. Here's some more pics, no changes to the build. I need to swap out the brakes and bling it up with some higher end skewers...

Ritchey Skyliner Tandem - Fillet Brazed Goodness!

Re: Late 80s Ritchey Skyliner Tandem - Fillet Brazed Goodness! Made a few changes to the tandem.. wider bars, replaced the mismatched wheelset and tires, slapped some new (reproduction) saddles on there too! Man this thing is a beast! With the slick tires I was hauling ass. It handles so well...

Ritchey Skyliner Tandem - Fillet Brazed Goodness!

Re: Re: Yes.. i am kicking myself for not buying a few reproduction Turbo saddles when i saw them on sale recently, two matching turbos would look really nice. The mismatched saddles is something that is bugging me. I've already sorted the stem and bars and have a wheelset i will swap on...

Ritchey Skyliner Tandem - Fillet Brazed Goodness!

I was lucky enough to purchase this yesterday from the original owner, former Ritchey team member Jim Sullivan. I have owned two other tandems including a nice Burley and this one blows it away in both ride quality and of course craftsmanship. It doesn't hurt that it's my favorite color too...

    DBR Axis TT 95´resurrection

I am 99% sure.. the way I remember to identify them is that 93 has cable routing on the drive side and straight stays. 95 has snake stays and brake cable routing on the nondrive side. I forget how 94s are set up, but they have either nondrive side cable routing OR snake stays, not both...

    DBR Axis TT 95´resurrection

Re: Very nice job! love the green. BTW I think your frame is a 1995 model since it's got "Snake Stays" and the brake cable routing is on the non-drive side. The 1993 model has straight stays and all three cables run on the drive side

Painted Titanium DBR Axis TT mystery

Re: weird PeteC.. what color was it painted? the decals on this bike are on top of the paint so it could have been applied after the bike was purchased. The seat post clamp is one that diamondback typically used.. if it weren't for the cage boss and the curved cross bars i would just assume...

Painted Titanium DBR Axis TT mystery

yeah I am with you guys.. I didn't want to call the seller out but i hope the new owner is happy. If I were going to purchase i would have asked for a pic of the underside of the bottom bracket, it should say made in USA and have DBR as the first few numbers of the SN. And yeah have the...
