Bitd I had bar-ends with flat bars. I rode this way for a couple of years then put risers on and removed the bar-ends. A couple of years ago after quite a lengthy absence I tried the bar-ends again and just couldnt get on with them, the steering was all over when climbing,and the front wheel...

Do something with the Rockhopper not quite sure what though and liberate more footpaths that have suffered at the hands of the ramblers, let them be bridleways again ;)

And Manitou didnt? They were so bad that for a while RECENTLY they had no UK distributor, or anybody prepared to take warranty work. I ran a set of RST 461s(I think, cream with red graphics). A very good fork, as good as the more expensive INDY XC. FWIW I still wont touch Manitou,* they dont...

I just recently paid VAT at 19%, no import tax and no duty on an item labelled "Bicycle accessory" that was valued at 100 USD. And a £13 handling charge Truth was it was a £300 set of forks. The sender did it of his own accord, un asked, nice chap! :wink:

Don't worry he's always had a funny accent Whatyu sayin`lyk? Having done the majority of my riding in Scotia (other than the finest riding of all in Northumberland and South of France).... A fine set of blokes... They`re rarer too :wink:

Well, after dropping the good Dr off, I continued North only to be thwarted on the final section from the A697 tom "home" Fortunately I know people in Longframlington so I was able to get liquid refreshment and a bed there, continuing home this morning, got to put the key in my front door...
