Is there anyway to restore old hubs? I've got my old XT's and the front is a little bit rough even with new bearings. Can anything be done? Mike

A long time later.............. The first show that they are out of alignment. I'm thinking the little lug should be in line with the head cutout (?) The second shows the crown damge should I tale them apart and lathe or lightly tickle with a file.

I'm watching some nice XT bits on Ebay at the mo and the BB is 68 x 122. Mine is marked 68 x 122.5. Someone tell me it will be fine ti interchange. Plus are all Shimano BB's JIS? Cheers Mike

They are in transit at the mo but I believe from the photos that they are black. I think I may be leaning towards white as most of the other deore XT stuff is black as well. So I'm thinking white, black bits and silver highlights.

cool only problem is I haven't had any on there for around 15 years any body any ideas as to what they look like :oops: I've had a little google but not much luck.
