    Time pedal timeline ?

can't work out how to get the seal and spindle out Once you have the circlip out it's 'just' a matter of tapping off the body from the spindle. However easier said than done because the bearings are a tight interference fit and you won't be able just to pull them apart in your hands. What I...

    French race frame 60-cc.

Would like a steer, pointer tip-off to a proper French cadre velo de course to hang various Mavic gruppos on. So, late 1980s - early 1990s Meral, Gitane, Cyfax, TVT (RMO) etc.. No Peugeot or crap eyeleted frames posing as racers. This is out there somewhere and I want it!

Article Fignon's 1989 Tour de France bike

Re: That's interesting about the handlebars. I thought the 260 Italia pros came out later on in the 1990s, I think Pantani was using them in 98 with his 'Big one' stem which would make them almost 10 years old at that point! Never seen an Italmanubri catalogue from the late 1980s.

Article Fignon's 1989 Tour de France bike

Re: I have always wanted to know what model Fignon's ITM handlebars were that he used in 1989. As for the choice of tyres he mentions those in his book and says something like they (the team) were told they would be using 'covers' (clinchers) that season and that he felt they looked bulbous...

    Time pedal timeline ?

Re: All i can say is just beware of the current generation of Time i-clic pedals. Although the mechanism is easy to get into and out of the platform where the foot rests is pointed and lethally sharp - akin to Ben Hurr chariot knife blades. Twice this summer the left pedal hit the back of my...
