Hello,
thought i would let everyone know theres some good bike stuff on sale at aldi again.
just bought myself a track pump for £5. It does presta, schrader and has a 12 bar (174 psi) gauge. ive not tested it yet but its seems pretty solid. should be good for tubeless (i hope!)...
Hello,
I'm after a super short stem for my sons bike which is slightly too big for him. (carrera blast)
direct mount would be ideal.
not bothered about brand, weight, colour etc.
cheap as possible including postage.
cheers
Nigel
could have met up with you for that but didnt see in time. i went to have a gander at the 5 rise as its drained at the moment. it was so busy it was unbelievable, ended up taking a detour through bingley on the way home to avoid pedestrians.
looks to be a good route to me.
anyone else...
hello all,
thanks for checking your stock everyone.
i've managed to source some cannondale hubs (which i'm hoping are the original ones for my rims).
the circus monkey ones looked quite good but the cannondales came in a bit cheaper.
Hello,
I'm looking to source some 24h hubs.
I don't mind if its new / used as long as they are in good working order.
Preferably dt swiss or hope but open to suggestions.
Cash waiting.
Thanks
Nigel

i like Tonka. reminds me of those Tonka toys for obvious reasons (and in a good way).
I also like the green Kona (mainly due to the lovely colour). Even if it is a Kona
don't know if anyones said this before but there seems to be quite a few on here that owned a raleigh activator (1 or 2) at some point (including myself).
i wonder how many wont admit to owning one too :D
activator 2 ftw
i had an activator 2...poor thing.
got it for christmas as a kid and could barely lift it.
anyway. i have a raleigh max "air ride". dont know where the air came from as its about 16kg. 35lbs ish. its my winter bike so gets used when it gets sloppy.
also have a british eagle...
you should be able to download a full guide from the rst website. give google a try.
i have a set of rst 381r 's on my 98 raleigh. they are in full working order so hopefully yours will be the same after a nice clean & service.
that could be fun with my mtrax (bonded tubes).
a guy at work had an off at stainburn (someone suddenly stopped infront of him and he went over the bars).
